Patches of blue sky here in N Kent after heavy rain over night. Forecast is for strong winds. So it wont be very warm here on the coast.

It was pouring overnight and DGD was sick so I've not had a lot of sleep and I'm off to see mum and her sw this morning - I'd much rather stay in bed! The forecast is for more rain and high winds - deep joy!

Good morning from Colchester. Blue sky here after heavy overnight rain. Hope it stays dry as I have 4 year old DGS to amuse today.

Morning all. Pouring with rain and the roof is coming off the conservatory today, it will be four days before water tight again. Put the furniture out last night covered with a tarpauline but wind lifted it so furniture is wet!

Very wet this morning in Northumberland. I had to avoid a lot of standing water on the way home. It is supposed to improve later. We'll see!

A dull miserable say- it looks as though it may have rained all night with a lot more to come. Cannot wait.

Good morning all, after some really heavy overnight rain, the sun (watery) is beginning to break through. Won't have to water the tubs till later. Enjoy your days.

At the moment it's not looking to bad in north essex this morning but wouldn't like to say if it's going to last

Pouring here in the North East, a day for housework I think.
DD has taken the DGC to school to save the little one getting soaked while I am getting him in and out of the buggy.

Hospital appointment for me this p.m. - only routine but still a nuisance.

Foggy and damp here. I am staying in and sorting clothes for my holiday.
Happy Birthday to Gransnet, four today, so no throwing tantrums or throwing toys out of the pram

Tremendous wind all day which I find very irritating. Out this evening to a new evening class - Philosophy and Economics - hope it is good.
