Good Morning Monday

oops, wrong day

Wind starting to get up here.

I thought it was snowing just now but have realised it's the blossom blowing off the trees. Starngely enough, as we were driving home last night I saw the blossom and thought to myself 'we'll have strong winds soon' because that always happens when the blossom is out .

Lots of very welcome rain overnight, dry and cloudy atm.

It started off grey and gloomy here this morning and then the cloud came down and it is drizzling as well. Without putting my nose outside the front door I can see that a strong wind has started and I'm very glad we didn't buy any plants yesterday.

Much milder here than of late so spending the day catching up in the garden - the hosta is still OK but it looks like the Somme all around it.

Good morning to all! A lovely day here in S. Yorks, but cold and breezy. We avoid going anywhere in the car on a Bank Holiday, so it will be walking locally and then gardening. Hope you all enjoy your day.

Happy Star Wars Day from now sunny Colchester. The earlier dark clouds have rolled away.

It was a toss up between the local theatre matinee or a historical guided walk this afternoon. Looks like the walk might have won!

Good morning. We are home after nine weeks. I think that was our last long trip.
Dry and sunny today and the birds are all singing away. It's great to be back in lush English countryside.
Tomorrow the roof comes off the conservatory to be replaced with a more insulated one, and quieter I hope. Guess what it's due to rain on Wednesday.

We're moving our little cruiser today. We've bought another one - which I can get on/off easily and has an inboard engine, so our little boat has to be sold, so she's off to the yacht agency. Hopefully someone will fall in love with her quickly - we need to recoup some dosh!

So we're looking forward to a lovely day on the river.
