Iam64 what wonderful news! Congratulations!

Virtual bedlam descending (literally) on Tintagel, broomsticks, flying carpets, surfboards and over-excited Dragons-the (car) parking trolls are struggling!

whitewave's keeping the coastguard on their toes but Lands End lighthouse have turned up their light so she should be visible to all seagoing traffic.

Tenapad's lorry's got lost so legs crossed it arrives before the hilarity gets too much. It was last seen in Piddlehinton then Piddletrenhide hmm.....that's ruddy miles away!

annodomini Mon 04-May-15 18:11:35

biker, I'm worried about you. What have you been consuming? It can't have been vodka jellies cos I'm not there yet. Is there by any chance a shoal of jellyfish washed up on the beach? I will bring a portable stomach pump. Have also got hold of a cosignment of cut price sheewees - hopefully not too cut price. shock

Dsim1948 Mon 04-May-15 18:01:56

Where is to tangle please what a great name by the way, hope it's close by and is this a real party or just one of those virtual ones ,no matter I'll be their if it's close enough lol lol,by land sea or broomstick.lol

A very strange occurrence! Is this party being infiltrated and de-railed I wonder! I just posted apologies for missing my lift and failing to train the doodle dogs in their flying skills - the reason being that our wonderful daughter had her first baby on Friday. Things have been a bit emotional here because it was a planned section resulting from concerns about her precious baby's growth. He was delivered safely, is a tiny bundle of complete joy - so even a virtual party is a bit beyond me today. Have a great time smile

Right outboard fitted so whizzing along - this is much better - also got some port and starboard lighting as I think I may well arrive after dark.

Just passing Plymouth sound - Cornwall here we come yippee!!

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 16:33:09

Seem to have spent too long in Torbay - I seem to have dozed off - must have been the brandy. Will need to get a move on.

Dartmouth coming up - I might drop in and get an outboard motor - truth to tell I am getting a bit knackered.

At the moment ETA is midnight so will have to think of something.

Galen Mon 04-May-15 16:30:48

I've arranged for a bosons chair at Tintagel for Newist
All we need is a few hefty muscular grans to pull on the ope!

Lilygran Mon 04-May-15 16:23:58

Thanks, whitewave. Superglue and raw liver worked a treat. ETA 19.53 if I don't have to slow down again to stop the bottles falling off!

annodomini Mon 04-May-15 16:11:56

I've just treated the old broomstick with WD40 and the creaks and groans have gone - well, apart from mine.

nannieroz111 Mon 04-May-15 15:33:19

Ready, steady, hold tight!!!!!!!!! One of these days I must learn how to fly this thing. Let's party whey hey.............

Gagagran Mon 04-May-15 15:29:29

We'd better not have any more just yet nannieroz - they do contain rather a lot of a very special herb! I think Galen may find them to her taste. wink. Shall we aim to leave fairly soon in case of broom jams? (Being Bank Holiday). I don't mind getting there early to help set up. We can then relax into the evening!

nannieroz111 Mon 04-May-15 15:12:27

Mwah mwah. Are we gonna party or what? Don't tell but I've secreted some best Irish whiskey (in the broom handle). Mmmm muffins are scrumptious.

Gagagran Mon 04-May-15 14:52:33

Sure have nannieroz - they are in my bag along with the SPECIAL muffins wink. You are coming into view right now - be careful landing on the deck on "Tenner Lady" - I fear she is going to sink very soon.

OOOOOO! Bump Lovely to see you! Mwah mwah!

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 14:51:57

lily that might do it, - failing that superglue!

Making good headway surfing in Torbay at the moment. Might stop for a spot of lunch, and a tot of brandy to warm myself up.

nannieroz111 Mon 04-May-15 14:48:23

Just doing a u turn gagagran. Should be in view any moment now. Traffic is terrible today, broomsticks everywhere. I forgot it was a bank holiday. Hope you remembered the new laid pipes ............ I'm itching to have a go! grin

Lilygran Mon 04-May-15 14:06:08

I can't fix the cat carrier on the broomstick. I'm going to try a baby-sling and raw liver.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 13:55:10

OMG I have just had the fright of my life - I thought a dinosaur had come to life but it was only the dopey dragon/dog coming to see how far I had got. Must say his flying has improved.

NEW block and tackle it is then or failing that I could blow myself up to a huge balloon and you could hang on.

Heading towards the River Ex estuary.

The toad vol-au-vents sound yummy.

newist Mon 04-May-15 13:34:58

whitewave sadly my wetsuit got a puncture, a sad long story. judging by the last time I got out of Tinks a very embarrising thing happened, block and tackle lowered down the side of the cliff may be helpful. I shall bring fish to grill, not sure whats on the line yet

janerowena Mon 04-May-15 13:30:30

How's the weather down there? It's a bit breezy here! I shan't be long, I've rounded up the broomstick, wand and am just catching up the last of the baby toads from the pond to make some nice vol-au-vents. Just like prawns, with extra crunch.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 13:19:27

new I have been thinking about that - it is a heck of a climb so wondered if I wait for you and heave you out perhaps the grans could rig up some sort of hoist for us. Although if we both have wet suits on perhaps we could pump them up and float upwards as it were?

Heading past the jurassic coast.

newist Mon 04-May-15 13:06:57

I have been paddling all night, The RNLI were involved in an incident near the Isle of Man, but I am on my way again, I have a long line attached with what seems to be quite a few fish caught. I have noticed a small cove near to the castle where I hope to land, I may not be able to get out of the Kayak with out help, would anyone be there to help, please

annodomini Mon 04-May-15 12:57:03

Nobody needs a lift from Cheshire or points south? OK. All the more room on the broomstick for my extensive stock of vodka jellies and lollies - toffee vodka a speciality.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 12:41:35

Some idiot has reported a barrage balloon afloat near the Needles, had to assure the lifeboat man that I am OK.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 12:32:54

Finally made it passed the Needles, now heading towards The old man and his woman. Didn't fancy going into Bournemouth so am paddling at the moment.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 11:46:09

pitt shouldn't worry too much about the facilities there is a Tenalady lorry turning up so we will be OK
