It's cold and fairly bright here in North Leicestershire this morning. A gentle walk to pay the papers and buy flowers and then to tackle the ironing!

Good morning all, not sure what the weather will do today, it is bright but overcast, and rain forecast for the area, but we sometimes miss the rain here. Much to my surprise yesterday I managed to do as planned, cleared out a cupboard and made space for something else. We had no idea we had collected such a variety of drinking glasses most of which will now go to the charity shop. Enjoy your days.

Morning all, we have some watery sunshine here in the North East, off to sort my Mums shopping then off up to the house to start to lay some new flooring in the extension.

We have a lovely sunny start to the day in south west Northumberland. I am taking my sister with me to see Dad this afternoon. For now, I have gone back to bed, I'm very tired after my 03.00 start. By the end of the week it catches up with me!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Forecast says cloudy all day but outside the window the sun is shining. The Royal Baby is on it's way so the telly will be full of that speculation news that drives me bonkers.

Dull start again here in N Kent the same as yesterday, when the sun did put in an appearance about 11am so fingers crossed.

Good morning all. Bright and sunny here, we seem tot have gone from spring to summer overnight this week, although I think showers are forecast midweek.

Loopy, it's no use to you at all for a birthday but one of the best presents we gave my Dad in his late eighties was a Christmas stocking. His mother died when he was four and he'd never had one before. He was absolutely thrilled.
