It's heartbreakingly sad soop, words failed me too, poor Alie. I can't begin to imagine how dreadful it must be.
My thoughts are very much with Bella and her DH too.

On a different note I see the new Royal baby is called Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, she looks a bonnie little lass!

soop Mon 04-May-15 15:43:15

AllieO I bounced into ^our kitchen* full of the joys of spring and all that...and then, I read the very sad news and am utterly lost for words. My love to you, AlieO I am with you in spirit. flowers

A big group (hug) from us all Alie

Galen Mon 04-May-15 12:32:18

We are all behind you dear Allie, but you know that!

Mishap Mon 04-May-15 12:30:52

You are a brave lady Alie xx

AlieOxon Mon 04-May-15 12:28:40

Hello.
You are all already doing something to help. I just want to say that I do appreciate all the messages.

I have had some support this morning and talked with FlicketyB here for a while, and my sister, and Jayne's partner, and her 14-year-old.........

Now I wish there weren't so many old historical awkwardnesses coming up and I am steering a careful course between different family members! Being the oldest in the close family I am trying to keep certain bits peaceful!

Tegan Mon 04-May-15 12:00:55

I wish there was something we could do, as a group, to help her in some small way sad.

Crafting Mon 04-May-15 11:27:49

Oh my goodness what very sad news about AlieOxon's daughter. Thanks for telling us baubles.

Mishap Mon 04-May-15 11:27:17

If you look at Alie's profile when she joined she says that she had 4 children and 2 were living - this makes it even worse. It is impossible to imagine what she is going through and my heart goes out to her.

dustyangel Mon 04-May-15 11:21:29

I read this yesterday and find it hard to stop thinking of Alie and her poor family. So very sad. sad

I just came in to say welcome to Bellanonna'and Bogoff and I hope you enjoy this special place.

Bella thinking of you and your Husband. I hope he is feeling a little better today. flowers

Bellanonna Mon 04-May-15 10:31:35

Bogoff puts it well. Puts everything into perspective. I was coming in to make some light chat but can't do that now. Heart goes out to AlieOxon. Sudden makes it so hard to grasp too.

ffinnochio Mon 04-May-15 08:32:36

Thank you baubles for letting us know. I hadn't read the thread. Such very sad news. sad

kittylester Mon 04-May-15 08:22:40

What awful news baubles! Thank you for telling us. It's easy to miss things if you don't read every thread. sad

Bogoff Mon 04-May-15 08:12:49

News like this puts some of our trivial gripes into perspective. Devastating, can't imagine how I would cope. My thoughts are with AlieOxon at this time.

hildajenniJ Mon 04-May-15 08:07:06

AlieOxon was in my thoughts as soon as I woke up too baubles. I can't imagine the shock of receiving such sad news. My prayers go out to her.

baubles Mon 04-May-15 07:59:26

Just in case some of you haven't read the thread about reclusive neighbours, AlieOxon has had the shocking news that her daughter has died suddenly.
I can't imagine how she's feeling, it is so sad.

Bogoff Mon 04-May-15 07:53:57

akk ?? all

Bogoff Mon 04-May-15 07:53:26

Good morning akk, Coffee pot is on.
Crafting - if this Pompa doesn't turn up, I LUV fruit cake.

hildajenniJ Sun 03-May-15 23:11:23

Nearly time for bed. I can have a late night at the weekend. Usually I am up at 03.00 to go to work. On week nights bedtime is 19.30 so I miss all the evening goings-on. Horlicks anyone, I'm just about to put the milk on, lovely with fruit cake.

Nelliemoser Sun 03-May-15 22:57:06

Fruit cake please and my late night brew. I have left a few jars of marmalade for this week's breakfasts.

Crafting Sun 03-May-15 22:31:31

Staggers into the kitchen with very large fruit cake in an attempt to lure Pompa back. Hope he doesn't stay away for long sad.

Welcome to Bellanonna and you too Bogoff. Love your name. Does it mean we get two of you? grin

Loopylou congratulations on your new job. Glad you are enjoying it.

Bellasnana do hope your DH is feeling better soon flowers

Been a busy day today so I'll just sit in the corner with Rory and have a little nightcap wine Night all moon

Bogoff Sun 03-May-15 22:16:51

Cat nappies, I would love to see what advertisers would do with the concept - Save on cat litter ?
- No more surprises when weeding the garden.
- Naughty bits hidden from view.

hildajenniJ Sun 03-May-15 22:16:41

My DD was furious!! She lives in rural Argyll and relies on home deliveries when her OH is away at work. She had Asda at her door to deliver her order, she hadn't placed an order this week. They had tried to deliver her last week's order. The delivery man was adamant that she should accept it, she was just as adamant that he should return them. She sent them an email complaining about their incompetence, and is waiting to see how long it takes them to reimburse her.
Welcome Bogoff and bellanonna. I don't visit the kitchen very often, but I always try to greet Mick and the new day.

Bogoff Sun 03-May-15 22:01:59

LOL, cat panty liners might negate the need for litter. Wouldn't like to try changing them though.
I was only relating my experience with Tesco over some 6 months when we used them, never had a reason to try any other, so can't compare personally.

Charleygirl Sun 03-May-15 21:52:26

BogoffI do not trust stores substituting items. The already mentioned Sainsburys got it spectacularly wrong one day when I ordered cat litter tray liners and I was sent women's panty liners! Not quite what my cat needed.
