just missed the good morning target ! cold and wet here , but looks as if it will brighten up later . Daffy I have done that , quite a shock to the system !

Good morning, the rain has reached us and it feels cool. Last day of holiday for GC so will visit them this afternoon. Eldest now has a swimming class on a Sunday afternoon which seems strange to me. Can't complain she is doing very well, proudly told me the other day that she had done 22 lengths of the pool.

Just a moochy day for me I think, dgd is coming tomorrow so I'll need to conserve my energy!

And I was totally convinced that it was Monday today to the extent that I thought the newsreader had got it wrong! Relieved it is not just me. Plus I caught me sleeve on the door handle which jerked me backwards and I crashed to the floor.Not a good start to the day.

The early morning sunshine has disappeared behind the clouds, and a gentle rain is falling on Northumberland.
Today DH and I are going to visit my sister and BiL. We will meet our new gt. niece for the first time. We will also meet the fiance of our youngest niece for the first time too. I hope he isn't too intimidated by us as it is a family gathering of sorts. My sister was 60 last week and this is her birthday celebration.

It is cloudy and rather cold here in Stockport. The rain of yesterday morning didn't last long. A lazy day for us, GS (13) stayed over last night and as there is no football for him today he may surface around 11am.

Breezy here. That gives me an excuse for missing the the target!

Happy rainy Sunday from Scotland. There was a plus in the rain yesterday: it was so heavy and so cold it put out highland wildfires that firefighters had been trying to control since Thursday.

Up early this morning with DGS1, who unexpectedly stayed the night so that DD1 could visit DD2 and DGS2 in hospital.

Didn't get on here yesterday so didn't notice any day amnesia. It happens to me all the time and it's quite a relief when others suffer from it too!

It's another wonderfully sunny day here today. I hope it lasts as I've just booked a couple of nights away at the end of this week to try out our new caravan. Sorting out what to put where in a different layout is proving surprisingly difficult. And as for that flashy lights, touch screen control panel above the door....
