A friend has left a message on facebook to say she's popping round this evening so I'm off to Aldi for some bubbly and nibbles. No doubt DD and the boys will join us so they'd better be large nibbles!!

All the male side of our family have their birthdays in June. My DH, his bro, his late dad, our son his FinL. 3 of my friends.

Anyone else notice a number of birthdays in one month?

I am 46 minutes into my birthday and just going to bed. 66 today. My sis in law shares the same date and the 4 of us are going out for dinner.

It is my birthday today as well whenim64I am 71.

I have had a much better birthday than last years my 70th. My DS2 and his wife chose that day to tell me that their marriage had ended.

Today I have spent the day with family, my two youngest DGC have visited and I will see my DGD2 and her baby my 7 month old great grandson tomorrow.
My DS1 who rarely contacts us phoned me from where he lives in Leicester. My DGD1 who lives in London visited me at the weekend and I will also see DGD3 tomorrow.

64 again today . I've got a birthday tea to look forward to and my 6 year old grandsons have made me a cake. I've been told I should act as though I know nothing about it as they want to present it to me when I take them home from school, before mum gets in. Should I be scared? I have visions of them deciding to light candles and fishing a big, sharp knife out to cut it whilst I'm sat there with my eyes closed.

I don't know about you, but when I read about the various "traits" of a Gemini...half of me thinks "yep, that's me" and the other half thinks" oh no definitely not !!" so there you go........split personality ..but that part is really true...for me personally ... up one minute, down the next. Bit of a butterfly mind flitting from one thing to another. I get easily bored and have absolutely no patience...often in a hurry, but a real lazy bones too. I often am contradictory..say one thing, but get swayed by others' opinions often.

Hey ho....off to enjoy the doggies now, Anyone else like greyhounds ? I am totally hooked !! (NOT the racing though )

I am now officially 66 ...no, can't be ! but if I was born in 1949...then yep ! I guess that's right....66 ...my goodness where on earth have all those years gone !

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I had a brilliant day thanks to my lovely friend who, although a busy working wife and mother, always finds time to spoil her friends. A very special lady.

Hope you had a successful and happy birthday weekend Caz.

My DH organised the games and entertainment for his own 70 with the approval of the two GSs 4 and 2 which included a Minion themed birthday tea, a water fight with water pistols, bouncing on the neighbours trampoline, and a game of rounders. Also sausage chips and chocolate birthday cake.

When they finally left our house looked as if a bomb had hit it.
