Good Morning Easter Sunday

My three DC all had chickenpox when young. 12 weeks from the first spot on DS1 to the last spot on DD. I thought it was never going to end. Etched on my memory.!
DS2 then went on to have it again at nearly thirty, he was really ill. Had spots on his spots.
Hope your DGS soon recovers, copious amounts of chocolate are a known cure.

Oh dear annsixty, at least they hopefully get a milder version when younger; DD was so ill with it when aged 14, she had spots literally everywhere including in her mouth and under her eyelids, poor girl.
DGS is grumpy but apparently not too spotty.

Loopymy GS is just over it. No itching never off colour at all. We are now waiting for 4yr old bro to go down with it.

It's lovely here now, and I facetimed my dd and we cheered each other up!
Now I'm soaking my feet (Ha, I know how to pamper myself!!)

Brightening up nicely here in Wiltshire, been gardening all morning and given myself backache.
It's lovely in the sun but decidedly chilly wind when sun goes in.
Leg of lamb in oven, slow cooking with rosemary, red wine and garlic, smells yummy.

Happy Easter. I am not doing family dinner until tomorrow as GS's are carting today. So I am having a divine day gardening. Sun trying to shine and wind gone. It is chilly when the wind goes in though.

Good afternoon now. I have ten people arriving at 2pm, the men are going to the local derby match and all the women will be nattering and having coffee and cake and then I will do dinner for the men returning. Here's hoping the GC haven't eaten too many Easter eggs and been sick in the car.

I think I left the sun behind in England, it's complete cloud cover here. Not cold, spring is springing all over the place. In the garden just now I could hear partridges clucking and there are poppies growing everywhere.
DH and I going out to lunch today so I'm planning on hot cross buns for tea.

Happy Easter, everyone! Sunny and warm here in Yorkshire, but we're heading down the M1 to Derby for a Northern Soul/Tamla all-day (well, from 4pm) event. Think I'll wear my pedometer to see how many steps I dance! . We had the family round on Good Friday this year, as today was booked first by the inlaws.

We are going to ex DiL's for a meal today,so nice to spend time with the children, although DGD at 16 will be glued to some piece of technology.

Usual suspects coming for tea/dinner/supper., a turkey crown which has been filling up my tiny freezer since Christmas. I bought it as a 'just in case' when no one could make their minds up where they wanted to be.

Cloudy or misty here. I hope it clears up. I really need to get gardening.

Not very promising, weatherwise, in Northumberland. We have a foggy morning. There is a starling busy gathering nesting material in my garden. I've never known them to nest near me all the time we've lived here. How lovely.
