Bright and sunny after a hard frost this morning in Northumberland. At present the dog is lying in a patch of sunshine on the living room carpet, she loves the warmth. She Wii have to move soon as I am about to get the vacuum cleaner out!

Pretty dull day here in mid Essex though they seem to think it will improve later. Lot of rain overnight judging by the birdbath.
I don't plan much today. I seem to be full of aches and pains today - a good excuse not to do more than the essentials.

No rain here this morning which is a first this week.
Nothing set in stone today, just going with the flow. Always the easier option.

The sun is shining at the moment but I don't think it's going to last. The builders next door are making the most horrendous noise, banging and drilling. I can hardly hear the TV.
