Farquhar is Farch'er, almost Fach'er. Have we had Dalziel yet, pronounced Dee-ell?

And how do you pronounce De'ath?

The name Colquhoun is C'hoon.

From my neck of the woods.....Inverquhomery, pronounced Inver-hommery but with a 'ch' as in 'loch' where the 'h' is!

Which can easily get mixed up with Howick, pronounced Howick,; they are less than 40 miles apart.
