Death by Firing Squad Law Passed

I can't go along with the death penalty under any circumstances. I would rather see full life imprisonment for the really heinous crimes.

Firing squad is barbaric.

Anyone out there who can explain this? I'm not a chemist or a pharmacist so maybe that's why I can't understand these stories. I think judicial execution is horrible but if a country is going to continue it and wants to use drugs, there must be hundreds that would put someone to sleep permanently and quickly.

I think they use a 'squad' so each person will not know if it was their bullet.

I'm sure, even if you lived the the USA hilda you would not stand accused to kidnapping, beaten, raping and strangling young children.

I'm in two minds about the death penalty, by whatever means. I abhor it on a moral level, but when I read about the degree of violence and sadism inflicted on their victims by some of these people, all high moral thoughts fly out the window.

It's barbaric. I'm just glad I wasn't born in the USA.

Isn't it about time they abolished the Death Penalty instead bringing in this inhumane method?
