Good morning and happy Mother's Day!
Grey, drizzly and cold here......

Grey here - just the one shade of it.
Dining out later.
Meanwhile, I've got my breakfast and brought it back to bed.

Good morning all. It's a still, light morning with high, thin cloud cover. Very calm.
Have just toasted some day old brioche, liberally covered it in butter to accompany my steaming mug of black coffee.
Lovely morning!

Good morning, and happy Mothering Sunday to you all. A little bit of brightness here this morning, and a visit from our son expected later. He will no doubt come with a lovely pot plant, his usual, but it is good to see him, he is always so cheerful. Not a lot planned other-wise, so off to prepare the Sunday lunch. Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone. Happy Mothering Sunday to you all.
It is grey and overcast, but dry in my bit of Northumberland. DS coming for lunch. I had a phone call from DD saying she hasn't sent a card, as no good ones available locally and her DH is away at sea, so she had no transport to go to the city. I don't mind, she's rather like me in not remembering significant days. Whatever you are doing, I hope you all have a lovely day. sunshine

Good morning all!

Grey and dreary here in north Leicestershire and the forecast is not brilliant!

I've had some nice presents including a mug from DS 1 which says 'Well done Mum, I'm awesome!'

Now to get up and do a meal for 10 people!

Enjoy your Mother's Day, everyone! sunshine

N. Bucks is dull but dry.

Off to DD3s for lunch. Have received a 'Big Fat balloon ' and card from DD1 who is being treated to lunch by 12 year old DGS. DD2 took me out for the day on Thursday as an early Mothers Day treat because she is away this weekend. I'm a very lucky Mum.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning all.
Change in the weather here after several days of brilliant sunshine. It is grey and quite cold.
An unusual Mothers Day present yesterday. DS and DDIL came a day early as part of my present was 'perishable'. There were flowers, chocolates, a jar of rum babas and (wait for it) some fresh cray fish tails!DS knows I love them so it was very thoughtful. DD and DSIL are coming this morning,
Happy Mothers Day to you all.

Morning all
Happy Mothering Sunday. Dull and grey here.

DD her partner and DGC were coming to lunch but her partner is not well so she will be visiting the hospital instead.

Juliette As is South Cheshire. It's usually even colder up bank in Stoke on Trent than down on the Cheshire plain.

Good morning all. The sun is trying to break through here in Chester but it still feels cold. It was an early start for me today, the dog woke me at six all bright and bushy tailed so I decided to go for our walk just as soon as it was light enough. It was cold but I enjoyed it and came back feeling bright and ready for what the day may bring.

Have a good day everyone.
