Thank you all for your good wishes, we had a lovely lunch overlooking the sea. Galen and harrigran, 1967 was indeed a very good year, looking back I can only think how young I seemed at 23.

It was -3C this morning, but is now a beautiful 9C. It's supposed to cloud over later, sadly.

Good morning all from a sunny and warm Algarve. We got back late last night and despite a full washing basket and the aches and pains of travelling it is really good to see a blue, blue sky again. The front door is wide open, all I can hear are bumble bees buzzing in and out of the freesias and we are going out to lunch because it is our 48th wedding anniversary today.

Bright and sunny here in Stockport with lots of blue sky but still feels chilly.
As DD so elegantly puts it I feel I am coughing up a lung but the empty fridge means a short trip to the shops if we want to eat today.

It was bright here but clouds are building up and it's decidedly chilly.
I quite fancy a trip to the garden centre for a browse and a coffee this morning.

It's a bright start in North Leicestershire but rain is forecast! Today I am having my highlights done and then collecting DGC from school. Why does it always rain at pick up time and especially when I've been to the hairdressers?
