This afternoon I have the house to myself and really should catch up with some paperwork but I think I'll catch up with Holby City instead!

I can't believe that I can say it isn't a bad start here in Stockport. Yesterday turned into a beautiful spring day. Perhaps too much to hope for another one.

Overcast here in mid Essex but looks as though it might brighten up. We too had a lovely day yesterday. Grandaughter and great-grandson coming this afternoon which will be a treat.

It is grey, very windy and starting to rain in this bit of Northumberland. Have gone back to bed as we had a late night last night. Out for dinner with friends, mm lovely. Not planning to get up again until lunch time! Nighty, morning!

Lovely and mild here in the West country. Daffodils, snowdrops, and crocuses everywhere.

Wild and windy here on the North East coast. Very mild though. Hope my hundreds of gorgeous daffodils are not ruined. They took so long to plant but well worth it for the display of colour.

My corner of N.Staffs is looking good at the moment, there is actually a glimpse of sunshine.
DH will fall out of bed in a minute, put the TV on and sit transfixed watching some sized ball or other for the rest of the day.
I shall abandon him to his fate and take the dog for a longish walk. Lodger dog and I do not share DHs sporting interests.
Hope the rest of you have a much more fulfilling day in prospect.

It is mildish and sunny in NW London. I am expecting 15C today so will be hanging he washing out for the first time this year after I return from the gym.

When I woke at 6.30 it was overcast but now not a cloud in sight. I'm expecting 13c today too here in N Kent.
Beds are stripped, first load in the machine. So lovely to be able to dry them outside.

Little bit of food shopping to do. Cinema and dinner out this evening.

Good morning all, high cloud, sunshine and breeze, another lovely day. Yesterday afternoon there was not a cloud to be seen, but the wind was cold again. Off to Amberley Museum today on the train to pick up a parcel of printing for the bowls club, looking forward to that and meeting up with everyone after the winter closure. Enjoy your days.

Good morning all. Overcast and windy here in Chester but much warmer. Just back from a lovely walk through freshly mowed park and out via cycle path into countryside. Birds singing, buds on trees and hedgerows - lovely. To top it all when I arrived home I noticed frogs and newts had arrived back in the pond, it won't be long until we have frogspawn. Hurray spring is on its way.
