Morning all! The howling wind has died down overnight but there's still a brisk breeze. Lovely to see DD2 diving yesterday. She's still a relative beginner (and did well) but some of the dives from the high boards that her pals were doing were very scary-looking, especially the one where they are on their toes on the edge of the board and just lean backwards to begin the dive!!!!

Bright and almost sunny here in N.Staffs. Long may it continue.

Its a bright start to the day in North Leicestershire but I suspect it will be quite cold once I get out of bed!

A very quite day in prospect as the DGC are with the Idiot and DD is away.

Loverly morning in north essex clear blue skies and very sunny. Had breakfast on the table at 7-15am for GD and 4 GG CHILDREN they had just got back from Holland might sit down for the rest of the day (I WISH)

I have just been roused from slumber by the telephone! I must have needed the extra sleep! It is bright and sunny in Northumberland at present. Must get up and get going, lots to do today.
