Wet and grey in North Leicestershire this morning.

Sainsbury's and library management committee today for me, which is a good thing as DD has two cakes on the go so I can't get near the kitchen! And, my cleaner is coming!

A grey, damp day but not particularly cold. I am waiting for Tara my cat's dry food to be delivered and then I will not have to worry for at least 6 months as I buy in bulk.

Wet again in Stockport for a change!! But it never did reach us yesterday.
Nothing in particular to do today but I have taken on the task of clearing DH's paperwork. Yesterday I found bank statements from 1991 all neatly in a ring folder so the shredder is out today.

I won't call it good, it's pouring with rain. I got soaked walking the five minutes up the hill to my house when I got off the bus. The river at the bottom of the hill is almost overflowing! I hope it clears out soon, the dog doesn't like walking in the rain.

Good morning, grey here too, but not cold - turned the central heating off for a little while! It is the day I get the vacuum cleaner out, it has yet to discover what it is for. Enjoy your days.

The way the trees are tossing suggests a NW wind which I hope isn't an omen of colder weather on the way.

Good morning from Malta where it is chucking it down. The Maltese word for rain is xita (pronounced shitter) and winter is xitwa (pronounced shitwa). Very apt in my opinion

Brendaw my DD and DGD are also stuck at Heathrow (terminal 4) for six hours waitng for their connection to Malta. They got in from NY in the early hours and are exhausted.

Morning all, it's been very wet so far here but should get better!!
Dgd is back to nursery, so I'm having a lazy day with NO Peppa pig! , but I miss her already.
Out tonight (early doors) for a curry with two friends, to plan our trip to Spain in May.
