I still haven't put my little Christmas tree back in its drawer and yes, I also have those piles of stuff that might or might not be going to the charity shops. Reluctantly about to start on the books. I know I will never read them all again, but what if... GC might want to study literature?

Good afternoon everyone. It's a bit grey and gloomy here, not really cold apart from the wind. It will be a bit chilly for the carnival parade though.

There's nothing like GN for boosting my morale. I now know I'm not the only one with a spare bedroom that has things dumped in it since before Christmas. grin
I've also got tights still in their packet from 15 years ago when we first came out here. I don't expect anyone wears 'barely black' any more. smile

Seize? Meant seigehmm!
Very relieved I'm not the only one soon! Certainly haven't bought any in past 2 years, and as no longer wearing corporate-image clothes it does look like they'll outlast me.
Bedroom now unrecognisable and very tidy.....I wonder for how long!

I have been the same. Very strange!
I stopped buying them about 5 years ago. I dont wear them very often, so I dont think that the pile is noticably smaller even yet blush

Beautiful sunny day here!
I'm sorting out and rearranging the bedroom, horrified at number of pairs of tights I own....and am unlikely to get through even if I live to 100!
I think I must have some kind of seize mentality, but why tights?! hmm

Good morning all - like you Kiora I have a spare bedroom which is a tip, one pile of things to go to the charity shop, another for the loft, 'throw those away at the tip', 'not sure about those'. Like you, I will get round to it eventually, just have to feel in the mood. We have a lovely morning here, hope it lasts. Enjoy your days.

Morning all. I don't think we've seen the sun in NE Cheshire all this week. It's grey and still - again.

Mild and damp in Kent. Congratulation on become a great aunt Hilda My house needs a good tidy up. I feel as if I've just dumped things in the spare rooms since December with the thought" I'll see to that later" well later has arrived and I'm not in the mood. Perhaps I'll dump it out of sight somewhere else until another 'later." Wish it was dry and sunshine

Good morning all.
What terrible weather yesterday, gales and rain for about 12 hours.
Today, in East Sussex, it's very wet but the wind has dropped. The problem with living on the Weald is that there is nothing between us and the English Channel so we get all the wind. Although the Channel is sixteen miles away we can see it clearly most of the time even see the large ships on sunny days but the wind is constant.

Good morning everyone.
It is quite cold and misty in Northumberland. I am heading north later to spend half term holidays with the GC.
The phone rang at 01.10 last night. It was my sister with good news. Her son and DiL are now the proud parents of a new baby girl, and I am great aunt for the first time!
