What do you pack?

The box under the bed that contains everything in the way of documents, policies, accounts, reference numbers.
And the wicker box on top of the wardrobe that holds the prescribed medications.

Passport, some clothes, some food, water, wipes, medication and blankets if I can carry them and a lipstick.

I'm slightly ashamed to say my first response would be - 'the dogs'.

I don't mean to be flippant and like Printmiss, I can't imagine the terror that people fleeing war zones must feel.

Watching on television the poor folk fleeing from their homes, and thinking what an awful life to lead. They have bags of belongings, but no idea where they will spend the night, or indeed where or what their next meal will be. How do these people manage to face each day? I cannot imagine not knowing where I shall sleep, or indeed how I will feed my children, and if I had to leave my home, without knowing if I would return, what would I pack?
