Up very early looks dark and cold out, but reason is I want to travel by rail and there is a landslip between Banbury and Leamington Spa, so journeys will be longer but weatherise OK in Brackley .

Morning Mick, morning All

I'm up early too, off to find a baby car boot sale (indoor). At Dersingham apparently. With DDiL. An hours drive to DSiL's first, load the car, then off to the Back-of-beyond-on-sea. Why did I volunteer? Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Have a safe journey Mick.

Happy Saturday All

(Can't see the weather yet - too dark. But no snow!)

(actually Dersingham is quite nice)

Good morning United Kingdom. [Bad Robin Williams' impersonation.] It has been 25° here today with a cloudy morning but a sunny afternoon. It is still hot sitting at my desk and I have had to draw a curtain so that I can see the computer screen. Have a good day everyone.

Must do housework today, singular lack of enthusiasm.....

Still cold and somewhat misty in Northumberland this morning. Going back to bed for a while. Hot flushes all night! Very little sleep achieved.
By the way Good morning everyone!

Good morning mick & all. It looks bright with a very light frost here in Kent today.

Lona Sat 07-Feb-15 08:07:48

Morning all, it's a gloomy start here in Cheshire and no sun to come either!
After exercise class I'm out with my friend to who knows where, for a short adventure.
I'm hoping we have some fun as it's been a rubbish week and I need to laugh.
I feel like Eyore smile

Good morning all!

I haven't looked at the weather yet but it seems a touch warmer!

We have an exciting day in prospect: lunch at TGIFriday and then to see Barnum with DD1 and her family as part of the on going celebration of her 40th birthday! I just wish she'd stop it - reminding me of my advancing years! She has really happy memories of seeing Michael Crawford in the lead role when she was young. I hope Brian Conley lives up to the memory!

Enjoy your days everyone - whatever you are up to! sunshine

Good morning everyone.

Very freezing cold here in W. Country - with a bitter wind. The sky is clear and sunny.

Going to have my hair trimmed today and wash the bathroom floor.

Agus Sat 07-Feb-15 08:13:29

Morning everyone. Blue, crimson streaked skies and almost a full moon but very frosty this morning however, another sunny day is forecast.

25deg I could live with absent but DD2 in OZ is welcome to the 41deg she is currently having to live with smile

Nelliemoser Sat 07-Feb-15 08:54:47

Good morning frim Cheshire. I am off to DDs to babysit DGS this evening having cancelled DDs night out last weekend due to the forecasted bad weather and a few closed and potentially icy roads.

I wish the sun was shining though I was hoping to get some good snowy landscape pics on my way.

gillybob Sat 07-Feb-15 09:07:20

Thick fog here on the North East coast. Fog horns blasting all night.

I have got a wonderful day ahead. Building a shed for DD confused

25 degrees sounds ideal Absent . You lucky devil smile

Good morning all.Yes dull and cold here in Stockport too Lona. Super pics of a very snowy Mam Tor in yesterday's DT Nelliem.

daffydil Sat 07-Feb-15 09:17:34

Greyish here in mid Essex with not much change forecast for the next few days. Story of my life really! confused
Enjoy your day everyone.

annodomini Sat 07-Feb-15 09:19:01

As you say, annsixty. I was snuggled under the duvet this morning, when I heard the sound of a ladder being put up under my window. I'd forgotten that the window cleaner was coming to clear my gutters. Quickly found fleece and jog-pants. He has discovered a patch where my roof joins my neighbour's where the lead flashing has come away and is now effecting a repair, fortified with some strong black coffee - he is, not the roof.

It's what I call a Manchester sky this morning - dull, grey and overcast. Managed to get some much-needed housework done yesterday so I am tiptoeing around as not to undo my good work. It seems to be one of life's rules that a room only looks good just after someone has tidied it up. A friend is calling for coffee at 11.00 and then this afternoon I am collecting another friend for whom I am cooking dinner. Tomorrow I am doing Sunday lunch for someone else - not very good planning on my part!

Brendawymms Sat 07-Feb-15 09:37:26

Morning all. Every day is a duvet day, I wish,
Grey and calm but very frosty this morning in East Sussex.
Last night spent hours unknitting some boucle. Two nights knitting wrong so had to unknitting it and boucle is not easy to either undo or pick up. Hope I have it right now.

Good morning. Dull day in Brum. We are going for a meal tonight with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter smile DD tells me she has arranged for balloons, sparkling wine and cake for us at the restaurant to celebrate DG's good news on his cancer results this week. smile

harrigran Sat 07-Feb-15 11:21:29

Good morning, blue sky and sunshine here but it was frosty and foggy first thing. Quiet day indoors today.
