I stupidly got up too early! Have been reading quietly and had coffee. Will give DH a fright when he gets up! Too dark to see what its like outside

Cold but frostfree here in mid Essex. Looks overcast but so it was yesterday and then we had several hours of brilliant sunshine. sunshine
Off to have some breakfast.

Good morning everyone. Another week finished.
Last nights dusting of snow is still here and it's a sunny but windy start on the Weald in East Sussex.
Hope to go to Paddock Wood this pm to see younger DD and 3 DGC.
Have a good weekend all and mind the ice!

Good morning. The day has started beautifully here. I have been watching the birds feeding in the garden. The sky is blue and the sun reflecting on the trees has made them look golden.

Good morning to you al, we have a brightish morning here with a little wind, so I might be tempted to do some washing, getting it dry is the problem. Anyway, we had a lovely unexpected day out with our friends yesterday, and just arrived home as a snow flurry started! Hope to get our car back today, and must do some shopping. Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone.
It is very grey with light drizzle and fog patches. Not at all what I was expecting. Still feels cold though. Whatever you are doing today, enjoy!

Good morning everyone been a while since I posted but lovely start to the day here in NI bright and sunny still cold but it is February! Yesterday was like a spring day here.

Morning mick and everyone. Looks like a wonderful bright crisp cold day here in Kent. There's a bright blue sky we're going to wrap up warm and take youngest G.D out to the park. After we've had sausages for breakfast. That reminds me must start a diet soon! Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning all. Welcome back Sparkygran

Cloudy and a bit of sunshine in the Thames Valley.

Persuaded DH to come out for a walk and a coffee down by the river - nice.

ninathenana Fri 06-Feb-15 09:42:06

Morning all.

Bright and sunny here. We had a short snow shower at dusk yesterday but it didn't settle.
I have to go and see if I can get my phone fixed. It died Wednesday evening and I left it on charge all night but yesterday morning it just wouldn't turn on confused

annsixty Fri 06-Feb-15 09:43:56

Good morning everyone.A beautiful morning here in Stockport, sun and blue sky but cars are still covered in frost.A visit to the "warfarin clinic" for us today.DH only goes every 8 weeks now which is a blessing as he now can't go on his own.

annodomini Fri 06-Feb-15 09:48:20

Just down the road, annsixty. It's a lovely looking morning but I hesitate to put my nose out the back door to put the rubbish out!

whenim64 Fri 06-Feb-15 09:49:34

Morning all. Just a few miles away frim you annsixty and it's a glorious, crisp morning here, too. I feel a garden tidy up session coming on later. Snowdrops are peeping through fallen leaves and floppy branches, so they deserve a bit of limelight. Isn't it great to see blue sky? smile

Lona Fri 06-Feb-15 09:57:09

It's a glorious morning for us Cheshireites, the sun is shining and I love the crisp coldness. Mainly because I'm still in my PJs!!

Have a good day all.

Good morning, better weather here and the barometer reading is reassuring. Central heating boiler serviced at the crack of dawn today, what a lovely plumber we have. He has promised to travel two hours to our other home and fit a new boiler there as nobody in that town seems keen to take on the work. So pleased DH discussed it with him as it was a bit of a nightmare trying to get workmen to turn up.

I've only just got up after reading in bed for ages. It is indeed a wonderful morning, my fellow North Westers, but today I simply cannot put off any longer doing some essential housework. I'm sure that when I was working the house was much cleaner and tidier but I seem to have turned into a right old slattern in my retirement.

Morning everyone. Another sunny day in W Scotland as it has been all week and as the last couple of days reached 9deg. I took the opportunity to hang out a washing. Still patches of snow in the garden but slowly melting away.

I am now desperate for the window cleaner to come as it's not so icy and although I have cleaned inside, the outsides are shock

Grannybug Fri 06-Feb-15 10:47:09

Good morning everyone. Bright and sunny here in East Northants with some frost early this morning.
