Just a thought

Like Bez I just bide my time.
Then he knows he was wrong, I know he was wrong.... and he knows I know, that he knows, he was wrong !!

I think he has said Sorry a couple of times.... it is not a regular occurrence. He will ask if I'd like a cup of tea, would I like to go out for dinner, will make small talk about something useless. etc. but can't get his tongue around the word Sorry.

My OH is always so insistent that he is right that I appear to give in and agree and then just wait for him to eventually see that in fact it was again me who was proved right - that way I find it is far less stressful and safer when he is driving!.

I may not always be right, but I do always have the last word.

DH doesn't do apologies apart from one notable occasion and we won't go there (no he didn't in case your wondering) what he does say is ' sorry if you think I've upset you' - could murder him at that moment!

I say to my DS, "I would agree with you, but then we would both be wrong."

I gave my DH a birthday card last week that stated "For this one special day only, I'm going to let you be right".

And I couldn't, because he wasn't!
