The whole kit certainly sounds cheap and...cheerful!

Well we were just wandering around this morning and there they were - bagpipes! There are kilts (for men I think) for £20, and sporrans. The bagpipes (the box states 'playable') are £12.99 so I am assuming they are for children. I wish I'd taken a closer look now! Aimed at Burns night I presume although I can't see many folks around these parts buying them.

I know you can pay hundreds for a properly made kilt.

I saw an advert in the press for these. I thought it a strange thing for them to stock. I suspect Charleygirl is right and they are cheap copies.

I think that I am marginally over the age of wearing a kilt. That was our Sunday uniform at school.
