I couldn't drink coffee in any pregnancy, and the smell of meat cooking used to make me feel ill.
The only real craving I had was when I was expecting DD1. Jif lemon juice. From 5 or 6 little plastic lemons a day, I graduated to the bottles, and would go through several, just glugging it neat. I remember once being on a train and getting a disgusted look from the man opposite me. I was drinking from the bottle disguised by a brown paper bag, not realising that it looked as though this heavily pregnant woman was hitting the bottle in another sense.
I felt so guilty when my DD1 developed a citrus intolerance in her teens and for several years would get awful migraines if she accidentally consumed orange or lemon juice, etc. Fortunately she grew out of it.
I reckoned that I craved Creme Eggs and Mars Bars with my other pregnancies, but actually I just wanted to justify eating loads of them.
