Be proud as you like Mishap. We love our DGC why shouldn't we be proud of them whatever they achieve. You too Tanith, I bet you're pleased as punch

Mishap, boast as much as you like. I have a recording of DD singing in Brahms Requiem and it brings a tear to my eye every time I listen to it.

tanith my grandson got his first headteacher's award today too, he phoned his grandfather at work to tell him and left a message on my answerphone too - he was sooo pleased. He'll be five tomorrow.

It never stops, does, that 'proud moment'. I thought I would grow out of it!

It's wonderful, that moment of pure pride when you realise you have created someone special. Someone who can give pleasure to others.

Thats lovely Mishap, don't we all want to shout from the rooftops when one of 'ours' does something fabulous...

This week my dyslexic 9yr old granddaughter got a 'Head Teachers Gold Award' for her Christmas Adventure story, she was so proud she could hardly get her head through the door when she came to show me.

How lovely to be able to listen whenever you like. Well done to your DD.
