It is mild here in North Leicestershire too!

Back to normal today with a trip to Sainsburys and then a visit to Mum planned. It is a relief to get back to some sort of routine after Christmas and New Year!

Damp and really cold here in Fife, but it's to be brighter later, apparently. Off to Edinburgh for lunch with DH (and a wee look at shops (oh, how can I even think of shops - though there may just be a little something in the sales.... )!

Good morning everyone.
There is a cold wind blowing, and it is grey and damp in my part of Northumberland. The river below my house is very full and racing, any more rain and the flood defences further downstream will be tested.

It was so dark when I woke I thought it was still night. Very mild but very wet too. Hair appointment today but not much else planned.

Morning all. Late up today. Everything is very wet but the rain has now stopped and the sun is trying to come out (I'm in Cornwall). I shall try and get the marzipan on the WI cake today. DH has just come in and given me a'little painting job' to do. I expect it is something pantomime related.

Sunny and dry here on the Ards Peninsula - but quite chilly. I am having a lazy day before going out this evening.

Overcast, wet and 'orible here. Having a very lazy day. Have read the local rag through and done the Sudoku. Must stir myself and at least run the Hoover over the worst bits!

Bright and sunny now in N.Staffs after a miserable start. DS is here to lend a hand with the great garage clearing project. I'm keeping out of the way! Will the 'just in case wood collection go?' Mmm......should be an interesting morning, we'll see.
