Dry and windy in this bit of East Sussex. Nothing planned today but picked up a hand embroidered shawl yesterday. Think it's Indian and pre loved by someone but it will make a great long skirt with a bit of lining. Will cost me less than £5 finished. Lovely.

Dry cold and windy in north essex this morning. Off to see a new dentist this morning i was with my last one for 60yrs just a little worried

Hope you like your new dentist Nannot. I gained a new one last year. He's Spanish, thirty something, with a lovely accent. Gentl too with up-to-date techniques and knowledge of injections - I hope he stays!

Damp and overcast but mild here on SE Hampshire coast.

The cat lady is coming to inspect us today to see if we are suitable adopters of a cat(s) from the rescue centre. Not quite sure how to act - feels a bit like when you are selling your house! Shall I get some coffee brewing? Scones baking?

Good morning all. It is pouring with rain here in Stockport and so dark.We have lights on all downstairs. I do hope it improves as it is very depressing to the soul.

Mild and cloudy in mid Essex but the sun is trying to get through. Hospital appointment late afternoon, just a checkup but wish it was earlier in the day as it is difficult to settle to household jobs knowinng I have got to turn out at abut 4.30.

Light levels really low this morning and have to have the lights on. Went walking in semi-darkness, it was all hushed.
