Dull but very mild, I had far too much on walking the dog this morning - puffa coat hat and gloves. Came back glowing!!

Dry, dull and coldish here in mid Essex - as you were, the sun has just peeked through.
I turned on BBC news on tv while I had breakfast and found Ed Milliband being interviewed so switched to Sky news, They were devoting most of the programme to marginal seats in the forthcoming election. It's going to be a long five months

Mine on Wednesday, when the cancelled-before-Christmas hip operation is due. Have just about convinced myself it will be cancelled again. Will know by the end of today, I think. Hey ho!

I was rudely woken this morning by my neighbour taking delivery of a small digger, which has been making a din ever since!

Sun's shining though

Good morning all.

It is a dry,bright morning in my bit of Northumberland, the sun is trying hard to shine. Today the Manager of our favourite Care Home is coming to assess Dad. Wish us luck.

Warmer this morning but damp and overcast, at least the dog walk will be dry. Looks like Sky news has launched their election campaign! Only five months to go! Happy birthday to everyone with birthdays today.
