Morning everyone.

Horrible stormy day yesterday, strong winds and heavy rain.

Today, blue skies, sunshine and milder. This would be perfect until spring arrives but I'm not holding my breath.

Very dark and wet here. Dog took one look and wandered back to the sofa - now looking bored. Very mild though.

Dark grey and rainy in Cheshire. Only 3.6 degC.

Morning all. A simply dreadful morning in East Sussex. Raining, windy and low cloud. Horrid.

Dark still and cold here in Manchester. I'm just getting over a nasty, chesty cold so I will stay at home in the warm today and take care of myself - not my strong point, I might add.

As Nannotgran says, grey and wet in Tiptree. Looks a good day or taking decs down and restoring house to normality.

Damp and dreary in mid Essex, plus I have been awake since 5 o'clock and I ache all over. Not a good start to the day.

Morning everyone. What a dark, yukky day in SW London. I've turned every light in the house on and downloaded some comedy programmes to watch while I knit.

I shan' t venture out unless I absolutely have to!

It's cold and damp in Northumberland this morning.
Three of the DGC are currently sitting having breakfast, the fourth one is still asleep! They are all going visiting today, staying another night and going home tomorrow. It's lovely having them here, even just for a short while.

I paid our papers last week kitty - we take just the local one - and they've sneaked the price up! An extra 55p a week!

Just coming light and raining in my bit of N.Staffs. Hoping that it will wash away all the mess that our roost of Starlings make on their flight home at dusk. Spectacular to watch but the aftermath is something to behold. We should be alright though, 'muck for luck' and all that! Happy days everyone.

Just a walk to the village to pay the papers (a funny expression if you think about it!! and a bit more tidying up.

Very wet, dark and dismal here

It's too dark to tell here. The M&S delivery men phoned at 6.40 and they're busy putting together the goods. Given them the last of the mince pies. They said it was milder and quieter than yesterday. I think it was blowing a gale yesterday.
