Best Christmas game

SIL's Boxing Day quiz with an excellent port, champagne, my pomegranate vodka and scant respect for the accuracy of our answers!

We played 'roll the ping pong ball down the string' - a double string tied to the back of a chair, take it in turns to roll the ball down and try and make it drop into a pyrex bowl (1 point) or a jug (2 points). Simples! We had four visiting grandchildren aged 13,10,5 and 3 and they all loved this. Now I'm off for another lie-down in a darkened room.

Oh yes, specki I remember playing Contraband over 50 years ago, at my great-aunt's annual Christmas party. After tea we would have charades, uncles doing magic tricks, roast some chestnuts in the fire - all good old-fashioned fun. Contraband was a smashing game.

We played charades and then Contraband - a very old game which my host had played since he was a child - he's now 71. Anyone else heard of it?

Bought a game from Lakeland called "True or False".
It went down well with all ages.
Quite a simple game, and a bit thought provoking.

I bought a giant piano play may for my grandson and it's been hilarious playing on it with a family of musicians around. Yesterday I sang a couple of Christmas songs with the children and apparently I changed key four times during one song.
