Nectar points

I thought I would get rid of my Nectar points as I don't use the card anymore. My question is: how soon after using them do they clear from your a/c. I used the card last Saturday to buy some plants, and the same amount is still showing on my a/c.

I used mine yesterday for last minute food and my balance showed on my receipt at 70points so obviously at point of sale.

There seems to be a time lag especially if you use different shops e.g. petrol and supermarket. I did very well with mine this year I got the turkey and 18 bottles of wine!
