I've obviously got an unsophisticated palate because, along with Baileys, I like Ferrero Rocher - and a freshly mixed "snowball" too!

I once went out with a group of students I worked with. They were drinking pints of Baileys' I kept up with them. Mia culpa. To this day even the sight of a bottle at the supermarket sends me apoplectic. Shuddering on the sofa composing this.

My late Father used to give me a box of Black Magic every Christmas obviously forgetting I don't like chocolate. I would just give him a big hug and thank him as this was his special gift just for me. The sentiment meant more...........DH would later scoff the lot tchgrin

Yuk to chocolate raisins too!

I am a chocolate lover and adore choc covered nuts of any sort but I can't stand chocolate covered raisins.

When I go to see mum I always take her Cadbury's caramel nibbles on the basis that at her age any calories are good calories. She polishes them off in about quarter of an hour but is most offended when I say I don't like them! Apparently everyone else in the world likes them - so I'm funny!!

I am quite partial to, Cointreau with crushed ice or a Marguerita.

DH will be getting marzipan fruits for Christmas. I loath the stuff.

I am not a chocolate lover but could eat Brazil / Almond nuts all day.

I love Ferrero Rocher- no idea about Baileys, I prefer a mug of coffee, unlaced.

ninathenana Fri 19-Dec-14 09:04:48

Don't like Ferrero Rocher either, or crystalized ginger, or marzipan yuck !!

loopylou Fri 19-Dec-14 08:55:10

I like the plan chocolate FR, loathe coconut in anything edible or not (like shampoo). But love Hotel Chocolat salted caramel drops (hint, hint.....)

Teetime Fri 19-Dec-14 08:54:44

Loathe it horrible stuff!!! But I don't really like any liqueurs far to sweet for me except perhaps a single Amaretto with lots of ice. I once got quite squiffy on a plane from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok on Cointreau - haven't touched it since. A nice well iced G & T or possible a small port or bandy after the Christmas meal is about as exotic as it gets. Although of course a champagne cocktail before is very acceptable.wine

I like it, you can send me any unwanted bottles. I've just been out and bought something similar called Cool Swan, it is delicious!

Eloethan Fri 19-Dec-14 08:32:30

I thin it's lovely - with plenty of ice.

I wouldn't say I can't stand it, but there are better, nice drinks. Many, many nicer drinks. In fact, when I think about it, no I don't think I do like Baileys!
