I also only just watched the programme today. I got the impression that RB was out of his depth. Farage is a one trick pony. The journalist made the most sense (as others have said).

He's not a one trick pony. He has lots of tricks, but that's all they are.

Our votes are our own business, our politics in general terms may display as Left, Middle, Right or UKIP, BNP and co. and if people care to make assumptions about our voting preferences then that is up to them. But we do not, and should not feel we have to disclose anything to anyone.

Anybody see Steph and Dom (from Gogglebox) meets Nigel Farage last night?

Not sure there was any point to it but it was quite watchable.

Yes, what a bunch of drinkers they are! Farage looked very uncomfortable when asked about his first marriage.

I read somewhere (RT I think) that Farage felt like a lightweight in the drinks department compared to Steph and Dom. I couldn't take my eyes off their lovely house and garden and all the staff.

I would have loved to have seen their appearance on Four in a Bed. I hope it gets repeated.

Seriously, Dom and Steph appear on Gogglebox on Channel 4 which is about ordinary people watching tv programmes and commenting on them as they do so.

Steph and Dom run/ran an upmarket B&B and had previously appeared in another Channel 4 reality show, Four in a Bed.

I'm not sure what the point of last night's programme was. Everyone drank a lot, Steph is a hopeless actress and kept fluffing her ad-libs and the two men, Nige and Dom, found themselves and each other so funny that all they did was loudly bray with laughter...

I was puzzling and thinking it was odd, DH is always on about Steph on Breakfast telly but I didn't think it could possibly be her and Fake Britain Dom!!

annodomini, I confess to having watched one and a half of the Gogglebox series. So many family and friends love it and one of the children (!) was here a couple of weeks ago, so I watched with her. It is entertaining, that's the most positive thing I can say. The camera watches several families or couples watching tv in their homes. The participants are a varied bunch and the way they watch tv together is so like what happens in many homes

I am like you Iam64. I watch programmes that I wouldnt normally watch beacuse of younger family members.
I have been subjected to gogglebox, 24 hours in A&E, Made in Chelsea, and Match of the Day.
Not seen the Steph and Dom programme yet. I get very behind with tv watching.

I am going to be seeing Frozen over christmas. Never seen it before. I must be among the last people in Britain to see it!

I haven't seen it either soon; I've bought the dvd and told the grandsons [7&4] that they've got to watch it with me next week even though it's a 'girlie film'. We were singing the song tonight. Bit worried that I'll hate it as the Snow Queen is one of my favourite stories.
