Ho, ho, ho... time for another Daft Game!

A simple game, known as 'Missing Vowels', which is probably familiar to many of you especially if you watch 'Only Connect' on a Monday evening. Players are given a theme as a clue to the answers then various words and phrases are spelt out omitting the vowels. I have done the first few to show how it works for anybody who doesn't already know it. The theme (surprise, surprise) is 'Christmas' and once we've exhausted Christmassy words and phrases somebody can then suggest a new, more challenging theme, anything goes... authors' names, capital cities, flowers, artists etc, etc

(No criticism intended, it was a jokey comment, NanKate and I was referring to the other Christmas game thread, not Limericks...)

Left overs

RR (tricky this one I think, so if you want a clue I will post it at the bottom of this comment.)

I'm from the other thread which may be a shambles but it is fun and that's all I want out of life now. I know we don't always follow the rules of Limericks but I enjoy the to and fro of completing the next line.

Michael Jackson song.

Rocking around the Christmas tree.

Oh no, I keep singing it now.

aggie I think you are right, it is 'on' (they wouldn't get hot enough if they were 'by' the fire)

Little Christmas Day sounds like a brilliant idea, can we introduce it here? Better than:
