Well done, connectors!

Not the game, though. Knowing the way these things go, I think I'll bow out, being rather too much of a pedant! tchsmile

A simple game, known as 'Missing Vowels', which is probably familiar to many of you especially if you watch 'Only Connect' on a Monday evening. Players are given a theme as a clue to the answers then various words and phrases are spelt out omitting the vowels. I have done the first few to show how it works for anybody who doesn't already know it. The theme (surprise, surprise) is 'Christmas' and once we've exhausted Christmassy words and phrases somebody can then suggest a new, more challenging theme, anything goes... authors' names, capital cities, flowers, artists etc, etc
