Resolutions?

Some good ones there. I carried out last years which was to get rid of bad relationships. Now I have, I need to go out and get some good relationships going again after moving area. So this year's is to socialise. I have become a bit of a recluse and it must stop.

I'm a rubbish resolution maker but I would like to change somehow. Just haven't decided yet lol.

To stop living life on the sidelines and to join in more. Since I retired I have definitely become more of a watcher and a lurker than a "joiner in".

NOT to get so absorbed in my fishing that I don't eat, drink or take a break to sit down and rest. Spending six hours on your feet when you're nearly seventy is lunacy, but ah, there's another fish rising and maybe we'll have just one more cast before we stop for lunch....... Perhaps they'll put that on my headstone!

Same as this year - never make a resolution.

absent surely the cat food is for your goldfish? I would have been so rude.

Just like rubysong, I must memorise my mobile number- why is it I seem to be asked for it when don't have mobile phone to hand!

Mine are:
a) to reply to stupid questions – e.g. "Have you got a cat?" asked at the supermarket check-out when I have just bought 18 cans of cat food – in the form of interpretative dance
and
b) to use "flipping gecko" at least once a day.

I expect my resolution will be to learn my mobile phone number, same as it was last year (when I failed).

Havent got anything yet. Sometimes I do make them.
But I must feel committed enough to make whatever it is a New Years resolution, else I will be doomed to failure from the start.

If I ever made NY resolutions, which I don't. I agree with kitty I'd need to get Christmas out the way first.

Well yes in a way- promised myself to lose this last stone and have started before Christmas. I'd like to improve my golf handicap so must succumb to more lessons which I hate I just want to play. Other than that and taking over from Angelina Jolie nothing really

I did spot the error up there ^^ but think I might adopt 'flipping gecko' as my new swear word!!
