Sholleys they are called around these parts. Last week I got a bus into town. On the lower deck where I was sitting, there were three of these things, two pushchairs, two walking frames and a dog. You had to be a contortionist to get off that bus.

Well, I wouldn't either , but she is one of those sort of people, you must have them in your own circle who know better [they think] than you !

I thought initially you were talking about one of those round balloon type things that children bounce on! I was mighty impressed and quite disappointed when you said it was a shopping trolley. (Having checked, the children's toy is spelt Hopper).

A Hoppa around here is the hop on hop off buses that run around Heathrow Airport...
I really don't lug any shopping anywhere apart from the shopping trolley to the boot of the car.. bits and pieces shopping is usually only milk or a forgotten item.. no need for a trolley.

I have a purple one and I love it for shopping at our local market as the car park is a bit of a trek.

Also useful for carting library books to the car.
