Christmas present for DH

I struggle with this every year but this year more than most as DH has all the gadgets he needs really but he does love technology. I have bought him some wireless headphones so he can listen to music or the old radio programmes he loves on DAB without disturbing me and he can go and sit somewhere else. I thought someone else might appreciate this as an idea for their partner or friend. Mine were Samsung from Sainsbury at £49 - you can easily pay a lot more.

I second this idea I bought some last Christmas for DH and he uses them all the time to listen to music and football .. its so lovely and peaceful apart from him humming/singing along to all those old tunes..

I am as awkward as they come, all my hobbies are technical and difficult to buy for as they have to come from specialist suppliers. Mrs P now gets me to order my present then hijacks it when it arrives. This year I wanted a new transmitter, so everyone has chipped in. I'm sure she will get me a small surprise, fluorescent pink socks or something.

A WaterAid gift, which is his wish, as usual - one of his passions is clean water and sanitation for all - and a little bag of goodies because I think you have to have some presents.

But what goes in the "little bag of goodies" , Ariadne? This where I struggle with Mr P, because things like (for example) a box of chocolate brazils, which my late stepfather loved, do absolutely nothing for himself, although I do usually end up getting a pot of Gentlemans Relish for him.
