I am feeling better today Nfk thank you. Had torrential rain last night and thought I'd never get to sleep, next thing I knew it was eight o'clock. I'm still hobbling around like Quasimodo when I move but I'm making myself move sometimes.
We have just had a power cut so the storm that I thought had passed on must have done some damage somewhere.

I understand your problem Veg my DH is a pain the rear when I'm driving. I try and pre-empt what he is going to say e.g. 'I've already see the cyclist ahead'

Good morning everyone from a very soggy Manchester. I have to venture out soon in my car, as tomorrow I will be driving my brother and must practise the route so that I avoid all his critical comments. I know it sounds pathetic, but it will be a lot easier on my nerves this way!

Tipping it down in the Thames Valley, however I am prepared to brave the wetness so I can put off cleaning up the house before my family come next weekend. I loathe housework.

Wet, chilly and wall to wall grey cloud here in Essex. Also I had a bad night woke up at 3 o'clock feeling very stiff and sore and couldn't get back to sleep for a couple of hours, so started the day in a grumpy mood. A bowl of porridge, sliced banana a dollop of maple syrup and a mug of coffee helped.

It is raining heavily and it is very dark here in NW London. Hopefully it will improve because I must go out later to buy some goods for the weekend. My cat opened an eye when I got up but decided that she would stay on my bed- very cosy and peaceful.

Somehow I do not think that for the second week running the grass cutter is coming in this foul weather.

A perfect autumn day down here in Devon - blue skies, sunshine, tiniest breeze. (It has been tipping down!) I must go down to the sea again.....

Good morning from a brightening Somerset. I've decided that the OG can take me out to lunch today, so will walk into town (supporting local cafe......halo emoticon!)

Good morning from north west Manchester - it's grim today folks, even by our standards. Low dark grey skies, pouring rain and a strong breeze to add to the joys. Whitewave, I haven't ventured out and the dogs are snuggled up, snoring at my side. We'll be off soon (honestly dogs, we will)
printmiss, empathise with you feeling a bit low. We had a similar experience a couple of years ago, it does make you feel low, we're human Look after yourselves

Good morning from Cheshire it's very wet this morning and I really wanted to get out to sort out the rubbish in the shed and take stuff to the "tip". (aka the recycling centre) but it's too miserable right now to even paddle out to the shed.

I will tidy up and make a shopping list and review later, or lounge around on GN with a mug of tea.

DH offered to take the dog this morning in the wind and rain so I gratefully accepted!!

Good morning from a very wet south coast. However, warm and cosy indoors and I am grateful for that, how awful to be sleeping rough at this time of year! We shall have to venture out, but not sure if we shall go to play bowls or not - I am making the other half make decisions these days, he has become used to relying on me (so it will not be my fault if it all goes wrong today). We have lost three friends in three weeks so he is feeling a bit low, they were all younger than us. Sorry that is a bit gloomy, just forget that and enjoy your days.

Yes bit of a search to find you this morning such a plague of spam.
Wet and windy here in East Sussex and I'm around and around today in Eastbourne. Drive to Eastbourne pick DH up from garage and drive him to Specsavers for hearing test, then Morrisons before back home. Then drive DH to garage to collect car. Nearly 100 miles in all.

It is quite windy here and there was quite a pink sunrise so I don't think it'll be too long before the rain arrives here.
