Morning all. Damp and cold in Cornwall. Ironing, sewing, cleaning out the fridge.

Bright and breezy on the South Downs, mild too. A change from the deluge and being wet through walking in the thunder over the past few days.

Good morning, grey and damp here. Meeting DD for lunch today, she is in UK for a long weekend, living in Belgium she gets a day off work for Armistice day.
Yesterday was a strange day, I went past Aldi and saw a woman in dressing gown, pyjamas and fluffy slippers going to do her shopping. FGS it was 10.30 in the morning An hour later and twenty miles away I saw a man in boxer shorts and stocking feet standing on a main street. I had to pinch myself, I thought I was still in bed dreaming.

Don't know, I'm having a duvet morning. I was going to Gloucester to visit darling daughter, but she's full of cold and I don't want to catch it before I go pm holiday!

A group of us old gals here have a lunch club once a month. Today's the day, yippee! A good meal and a natter and lots of laughing. It's great.
We take it in turns to choose different pubs. Today it's my choice, so I hope they like it.

Grey and damp day here in West Devon after yet more torrential rain last evening on way to and return from the theatre last eve. think we are making up,for such a lovely long summer!

Wet and breezy here too and soooooo grey, makes me want to hibernate.

My usually very competent son called round yesterday and told us that the previous evening he had put petrol in his car instead of deisel so the evening out cost best prt of £200.

Good Morning all. Very dull windy and damp in Cheshire.

Morning all.
Bright and windy here in East Sussex. Hoping (!) to get two new tyres fitted this am before going to Paddock Wood to babysit so my daughter can go to the teacher/parent review. Why they hold it early evening so that fathers are not home to sit the children is beyond me. Or the fathers able to go to the review also.
Tomorrow off to just south of Pulborough for a crafting day so need the new tyres to keep me safe on the roads. The tyres are £128 each so that's all the money gone.

Sunny and still here and the forecast is good. Apparently the rain should fizzle out before it gets here - hopefully so as the rivers are very high.

I had intended to make a start on putting the garden to bed but I've just had a 'help' call from languishing DiL. They've all got chest infections. DS has to go into work or loose money and DGS is feeling better - and lively. I shall throw open all the windows, burn tea tree oil and disinfect Everything! Have taken echinacea already. I think she only asks me 'cos she knows I'll clean the house!

Good morning all, it was bright and the washing is on, it is now very cloudy and looks like rain. Can't rely on anything these days. Meeting today to discuss a post-card display in our local theatre. Firs of it's kind, should be interesting. Enjoy your days.
