Who told them it was my birthday? I really didn't expect the police, fire brigade etc to turn out?

Lona sorry you are having trouble with palpitations. I had to have a heart monitor recently because my palpitations were so bad but I always felt it was related to panic as I worry so much. All test results came back fine and although we have a lot of worry at the moment the palpitations suddenly stopped. Sounds as though your DD is settling in well. I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight and are able to relax a bit now you have seen the new home.

Soop so what are you painting? Is it a Chihuanian or a Pomerahua? Whatever, can we see your painting when it's finished? I do wonder what Rory thinks of you painting dogs

Lona, your DD sounds as if she is really getting on with things and making a home as she wants it. Hope the palpitations stop or that you see the GP if they don't; some calming yoga and deep breathing could help in the meantime (apparently, according to my DD!). Perhaps now you know that she is getting settled the anxiety will lessen.

Bellasnana are you absolutely sure that Galen is on board and she has not moved into your lovely house? Delighted that you all had a great time together. The time appeared to fly by.

Well, I'm back, and we didn't get lost, although the lovely satnav man was slightly confused at the end!
Dd was stripping paper off the walls helped by a very nice friend, and the gas man had just connected the central heating, so it was very cosy.

It's a small, oddly shaped house, quite private, and the area is better than I was expecting. The council seem to be very helpful, and she plans to be moved in by weekend
I feel sad that she has lost so much, but glad that she has got herself so well organised so quickly.

Still got the palpitations though, so I'll give it a couple of days to see if it changes, and if not, I'll make a doctors appointment.

Slainte! to our Bella and Galen. It is marvellous that you are together at long last. Enjoy every moment. Bella please make sure that Galen boards the right "boat"! We would hate her to go creating mayhem when she realises that she's sailing in the wrong direction. Us Lot would never hear the end of it.

Well, I've a portrait of a wee dog (cross between a Chihuahua and a Pomeranian) to paint as a Christmas gift for my pal. I'm about to put my farty arty beret on...clear the decks and make a start. Here we go....here we go...here we go
