Soutra Best wishes for a stress-free journey to London. Is there ever such a thing! You've enough to cope with and your dear daughter's "incomplete miscarriage" needs immediate attention. I too had the same thing happen to me after a miscarriage at the twelve week stage and also after the miscarriage at the twenty week stage. THANK goodness she did not develop a serious infection. A D&C will help her to heal physically. The emotional healing takes very much longer. and love to you.

I think Montalbano needs to investigate all these suspicious deaths in your family! Has anybody checked under your patio recently?
London again tomorrow with DH - 2nd time this week just routine clinic visits, Liver transplant clinic on Tuesday, Haematology tomorrow and on Friday I am going down to be with DD who goes back into UCLH as she started bleeding again last week and scans have shown apparently some tissue was left behind ,what is called an "incomplete miscarriage" ( thank god it didn't blow up into an infection ) but no wonder she has been feeling physically rough as well as emotionally. Just what she didn't need.

Very late in the day but many happy returns from me too Galen. Shame about the captain.... any nice waiters?

I have spent the best part of the afternoon making a start on Beni the dog portrait. I have just this minute popped it under the shower. Some of the colours then merge into each other and I shall make up my mind (in the morning) whether or not it is likely to be ultimately successful.

Lona I'm pleased to hear that you're feeling a lot better. Your dear daughter has a new life to plan for. She also has a good mother to give her reassurance. I must say...well done to her soon-to-be-ex for his support. It is a good sign that although the relationship will be taking a new direction the people directly concerned may remain on good terms.

I too wish that us lot could hire a yacht (Montalbano at the helm) to take us over the sea to be with Galen. What's the betting that she's hidden the remains of her cake in the Captain's quarters!!! a good excuse to be knocking on his cabin door after lights out.

The relatives didn't ever really exist Charley. Though DH did have an Uncle Charles, who died nearly 60 years ago, and lots of relatives with the initial R, but none with millions in the bank!

kittylester there are an awful lot of sick folk around to try to take advantage after somebody has died. To attempt to con you twice in as in many weeks is despicable.

Our family is having an extremely bad run of luck at the moment. Another remote relative has died and we can access all his banks accounts if we first send a very helpful man an awful lot of money. Would you believe it - two relatives with hideen fortunes in the space of a couple of weeks.
