Morning all. Sneezing my head off this morning so maybe yesterday's aches were not all garden work related. hey ho. Atchoo!

We have a grey day today.

Haven't looked outside yet! Good morning everyone - I am up with two small boys (youngest DGC) while their parents have a lie in. Oh, thank heavens for early morning TV while I drink my coffee!

Been out to the workshop this morning, looks like being s grey day.

Grey in North Leics this morning. My lovely cleaner is coming this morning, DD has 3 cakes to prepare for the weekend so I'm going to Sainsburys where it might be more peaceful!

I have the beginnings of a cold too, bags, with my throat feeling as though I've swallowed dozens of razor blades!

Good morning everyone. My DH also has a cold. I just cough from October to May. Had all the tests not asthma.
A grey day here also but calm. It was very foggy all day yesterday.
We are babysitting my younger DD's Labrador today. He is elderly and does not like being on his own.

Hello all- wet and muggy but not cold. been up to hospital for blood tests already I was first in at 7.30 - excellent service although she punctured both arms in the end save waiting for an app at the GP surgery and then joining a huge queue although you can only do this if you have the blood forms already filled out.

Fairtrade shop today going to make up a small hamper for my DD's in-laws as they are invited to hers for Xmas lunch with us so must have something not too overwhelming but thoughtful - she suggested tea, coffee etc- hope that will be OK.

Good morning all, a little late this morning, had a bad nights' sleep. We have a bright morning and a good day promised the leaves need sweeping and the ironing is mountainous. Other half has an appointment with the optician, hoping to get the go ahead for a cataract operation. Enjoy your days.

No need to go out today so I must catch up with washing.

A pinch of salt in warm water, gargle this and no more scratchy throat plus the salt helps kill infection.

Good morning, it is a grey damp day. Going to meet one of my sisters for lunch and then an afternoon of catch up. She lives in Germany but has been in the south winding up our cousin's estate.

My dd is going to see a house at lunch time. She is classified as homeless, so she has to accept it, but we've looked online and it's very nice!
Let's hope the neighbours are ok

It will be a major culture shock for my dgds.

Good morning all. The weather today in my part of Northumberland began very wet. At present the rain has stopped and the sun is trying to shine.
Going out to the card shop later as my youngest neice has just announced her engagement. Ooh goody, a wedding to look forward to.

Here are some for your DD's new home Lona. I wish her and her girls the best of luck.

Lona I also send my best wishes to your DD in the situation she finds herself in and hope she likes the new house and is happy. My DD and GC have just left after spending 3 days with us, the first time we have seen her since she and her H seperated and I feel much happier as she is more relaxed and much more self confident now she has finally done it. She is able to stay in the family home which is a relief and we just hope things continue as they are at the moment, but perhaps we are all waiting "for the second shoe to drop".
