Morning Mick and everyone. Glorious red sky here on the SE Hampshire coast. Is it a sailor's warning or just a lovely sunrise?

Been up since 4.40 with a bad back. Very troublesome in bed but much better when I'm up and moving. Suspect a snooze in the chair will play a part in proceedings today!

Happy days all. sunshine

Good morning all.
A totally wonderful but exhausting day at Alexander Palace yesterday.
Lovely day here today in East Sussex. Dry and bright.
Where is everyone this morning?

Morning all a foggy start but clearing now we have a train outside since before 6am with its engine running and presumably some kind of engineering works going on the line. when you look up East Midlands Railways the information for engineering works beings on Oct 18th - very helpful - hope it goes soon.

Good morning everyone, a Sunday lie in, marvellous!

A grey start to the day here, no walk yesterday as torrential downpours. I am going to go stir crazy soon! Hope your back improves Gagagran

Morning all, lovely and sunny here in Cheshire. Nothing exciting planned, just a quick trip to the shops for extra milk and biscuits for my handyman tomorrow.
The leak wasn't fixed on Thursday, so he's coming back tomorrow to rip up the bathroom floorboards! hmm
I hope it doesn't take too long as I've only got one toilet blush

Out into the garden in wellies - sharp downpour.
Into the house without wellies - sunshine
Out again in wellies - more rain
Repeated 3 times
Into house without wellies
Staying put.
That kind of morning.

Good morning, another beautiful day in the north east. GDs are off to see Disney on ice so I am going to go for a nice walk and then catch up with some TV recordings.

Good morning everyone (just). I'm a bit late. In the middle of preparing a pork and pineapple curry, spiced red lentils and nann bread, I have come to a natural break in the proceedings and thought I'd catch up. Lunch is at one o'clock on a Sunday as DS comes after work.

By the way, it's a beautiful morning in my part of Northumberland.

Really weird outside.
I live on top of the hill looking down onto the Bristol Channel. The mist has just cleared up here leaving a blue sunny sky. But below me the mist is still in the channel and I'm looking down onto the top of it.
It's rather like being in an aeroplane above the clouds.
