Good morning all, I am up and about early this morning as we are off on the train to see our friends in Horsham/Crawley, will probably have a sore throat tomorrow, but worth it, lots to catch up on. Enjoy you days

Good morning!

Blue sky with clouds here too*Mick*!

I have a really exciting day ahead! After my normal trip to the village, I am helping at DGD1's 6th birthday party which is a session of building bears and then a teddy bears' picnic with games back at home. It should be fun walking ten little girls through Derby and then on to the house!

Take away for dinner!!

A bit dull to start but I am hoping that may improve. I am off to the gym soon and then visiting a friend. I am also expecting a Sainsburys on line delivery this afternoon and then peace.

Morning Mick, morning All

A lovely sunrise here this morning and the promise of a good day.

Yesterday's 1st birthday tea for DGS went very well - other DGM is an excellent cook and I fear I've found the 3 lb I had lost.

Enjoy your weekend Everyone - especially Kitty. I do hope no little girls go astray. Derby on a Saturday. Very brave!

Morning everybody from a rather dull and cloudy south coast.

Busy weekend of childcare ahead as DD is off to Oxford to her friend from Uni's 40th birthday bash and DSiL is in Mexico on a stag do. The groom is American and has friends worldwide so Mexico was picked as a central venue.

I think we shall be quite happy to see Sunday evening!

Happy weekend all. sunshine

Good morning everyone. It's a sunny morning in Northumberland. A few little clouds, and rather chilly. Diet day today for DH and me. I must buy a new battery for my scales, when I stand on them all they say is BATT. DH won a prize in a raffle yesterday, he's off to collect it, I wonder what it is.

Morning all - do you like my new name. No golf today - off to Cambridge shopping with DD. Cloudy but promising here in MM.

Gagagran Sat 27-Sept-14 08:47:42

Clever name Tee! If you don't want people to spot you though maybe you should keep your golfing exploits below the radar?

Have a lovely day with your DD in beautiful Cambridge. Our two DC both went to the University so we visited a lot over a period of 5-6 years. I always thought the beauty was a bit wasted on students but their parents could enjoy it!

Good morning to everyone.
What a grey day but no wind in this part of East sussex.
Got the front and back of my cable jumper finished and done the neck so just two sleeves now. Should have it done in time for DD birthday.

Good morning everyone from a grey and windless Petersfield. Not sure what's on the agenda today but likely to involve more painting and maybe a walk in the woods to clear the head. Everyone sounds so busy today - have a good one whatever you are doing.

Good morning from a sunny north east. Lunch in Durham today and nothing much else because I have a sore arm after flu injection.

Dull here.
I've packed some pearls, a bra, a pair of knickers and a dress or two.Off tomorrow for a week on Adonia with the angel next door. Apparently we get a butler in our suite! The last two IVE had on Cunard have been female, I'm holding my breath that its a dishy male this time!

gagagran my son is in Cambridge and truly appreciates it, he is really sad at the thought that once he is no longer a student he hasn't a chance of being able to afford to rent anywhere.

He's just gone back, I really miss him and wanted to go out somewhere nice with DBH, but he is tired so I think I shall go and have a long bath and take a bag of maltesers in with me. Maybe a book too. Is it too early for a G&T? The sun must be over the yardarm somewhere...

Have fun galen. I too am a fan of pearls. As a teenager I used to be laughed at for wearing them with long-sleeved t-shirts! I had a godfather who used to buy me a new necklace every year, on his travels around the world. My very own look that I have never quite grown out of.
