Morning Mick, morning All.

It's grey here too. And breezy. Looks like it's set for the day. The painters should be back to finish the house this morning so hopefully it doesn't rain.

It's DGS's first birthday today and we've been invited to the other grandparents for afternoon tea with their side of the family. Not sure DH is going to enjoy it - but I'm sure DGS will.

Have a super Friday All.

Good morning!

It's quite bright here and warmish! My day will include lots of washing and drying as DGS has a really bad cough and has, so far, been sick in his bed, his mum's twice and on two of her dressing gowns! And, it's only 7.30!!

I also have to go to the butchers and to visit mum!

Enjoy the party NFK cupcake

Enjoy your days everyone. sunshine

It is a bit dreich and drab in NW London but it does not appear to be cold. I am ever hopeful that the sun may appear later.

Good morning all, it's grey and dull here in Petersfield. We are off on a walk with our local wildlife group so hope it doesn't rain otherwise we will have to adjourn to the pub for lunch a bit sooner!

Good morning everyone.

I saw the sun briefly, just as it rose. Now the grey clouds fill the sky. I hope it doesn't rain. DH and I are going out to lunch, and then I have an eye test. New specs might be the order of the day.

Good morning everyone, grey here too, but no rain which was forecast. I have washing and ironing on the schedule for today, together with shopping, unless our friends phone to ask us to go to lunch with them, which they sometimes do on a Friday. Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone.
Grey but calm in this bit of East Sussex it's not cold however, long may it last. Aren't the nights drawing in though.
On 8th October I have a dental appt, Nhs won't do it, will only take the tooth out, so it's either tooth out or pay so £545 for a specialist root canal filling.
On 9th October have an eye appointment to have YAG treatment on the left eye. Cost £540. So in two days I spend more than my monthly income. The NHS Told me last November they needed doing but did not offer to do them.
It's a b****y good job I worked for many years for the NHS so my pension will pay for my treatment.

Morning all from a damp SE Hampshire coast. We had a shower about 8am and it's overcast and dull. Such a shame as this morning is the last visit of the season to a Garden Club member's garden and she will have worked hard to make it look good for us to admire. Hey ho!

Hope the sickness isn't a bug which goes round the family Kitty.

Happy days everybody. sunshine

Good morning from a lovely sunny north east. Flu jab at lunchtime and then the rest of the weekend to ourselves. DIL has rung to say that her parents are going to stay for the weekend, nice for the GC as they only see them a few times a year. DIL says the sickness bug is going round GC's classes, as soon as they get back to school the bugs start.

I loved it when I worked at a school, and parents would 'phone to ask if there was 'a bug going round', we had 400+ children, and the chances were that there was, and yes, they did always start at the beginning of a term.
