It's raining here in my bit of Leicestershire and seems to have been doing so for a while. It's someone's law that I am having my hair done AND it's raining! I feel like a piece of chewed string this morning as both DGC have bad colds and we all had disturbed nights!

DD2 has appointments for both her daughters to have their heart murmurs checked - hope that goes well.

Morning all! Bit of overnight rain here in SE Hampshire but seems to be brightening up now. I have a Macmillan coffee morning to attend this morning and choir tonight. DH is off with his cycling club for the day so we shan't see much of each other. Hey ho.

kittylester my DH has a heart murmur but has been told that is just how his heart works. When he was young ( before invention of the wheel) they did not have the ability to check it so went unmentioned. Like colestaral it had not been invented when he was a lad.

Good morning, it's a sunny start here, the leaves are glowing yellow.
Exercise class this morning, followed by the cinema, Helen Mirren, so I hope it's good.

Very dull here in NW London and it has started to rain again. At least I will not have to water anything today. Apparently sunshine is forecast for the afternoon and it is not cold although my neighbour's heating is on.

Good morning everyone, not a bad start to the day here in Petersfield. A blueish greyish sky (not sure that's the correct meteorological term) with some sun. I am off to the allotment for some much needed weeding and more glut courgettes while DH goes to B&Q for more paint. Painting on the cards this afternoon ... Hope everyone has a good day and kittylester there is reassurance re your DGDs.

Morning All

Went to Norwich's Moveable Feast last night. Still comfortably full. Three excellent courses in three excellent restaurants. Over 1050 people all wandering from venue to venue. Much bonhomie and lots of dosh raised for Parkinson's Research.

Overnight rain which the garden has appreciated, but it's now brightening.

Scaffolders coming this afternoon. The painters have finished the front of the house - now just the back over the conservatory to do. Looking good so far.

Good morning everyone from a bright and breezy south coast. We too had rain overnight, thank goodness I will not have to water the pots, but I am going to plant some bulbs - I dug them all up last year, and now do not know what to do with them, as we have re-organised the garden, will probably end up giving some away. Anyway, enjoy your days.

Good morning Mick, and everyone. We rose for work with the rain pouring down. When work was over we emerged to find glorious sunshine, and so it continues. Let's hope it lasts for the rest of the day.

Did the school run this morning without coats and now it is raining. Hope it stops before the end of school or I will not be popular when Mum picks them up. We were all woken up at 2.30am by the sound of the cockerel. DGS had been fiddling with his alarm clock which emits a piercing cock-a -doodle-do sound.

It's a lovely morning in Manchester ,not sure about earlier as didn't get up til 9.30!
Dogs walked,washing out now the dreaded shopping before an afternoon of horsey bliss.

Sunny and breezy in Poynton. Lunch with friend shortly.

It's so warm and sunny here in South Manchester - just had coffee in the garden, enjoying the warmth of a late September day. Fabulous!
