Morning everyone. Lovely sunshine in Northumberland. Making lunch and taking DH and dog for a walk this afternoon. Let's hope the sunshine continues into the afternoon.

A beautiful morning here in Manchester and just about to begin some very much needed gardening. I have had real knee problems for the past six weeks which have put me out of action, but fingers crossed seem to be improving. My strategy at the moment is to be active in the morning and then rest in the afternoon, but I have to say I am hopeless at resting.

Good morning everyone. A lovely sunny morning but just a bit too chilly to have my early morning coffee in the garden now.

DD has invited me to help,with her latest project! She bought a small cast iron fireplace for £20 on Gumtree. It's beautiful but when I saw how much wire brushing was required we changed the plan to I would do a bit of tidying up and be chief coffee maker! She has watched me take on different projects but that was 20 years ago and no longer have youth on my side

Good morning all, yes, another lovely day promised here on the south coast, and unfortunately I can no longer put off the vacuum cleaning, so an early start so that I can later on get out into the garden. Enjoy your days

It's a lively bright start here in North Leicestershire. DD and I are going to try to find the dining room this morning and then I must go to see mum as I haven't been for a week , what with one thing and another!
