Good drying day here..... much washing after visitors (No1 son, DIL and 2 GC) No 2 son and DIL arrive on Saturday.

I am going out for lunch with DH today, using a voucher from the local paper. Dress rehearsal for lots of eating out from next Monday when we are tripping off to France for 8 days. Best part of the holiday for me - no cooking!

It's chucking it down here. Torrential! DH was all set to go off to do his volunteer gardening stint, but has decided against it!

Lovely day here. Our 44th wedding anniversary - where did all the time go?!

Morning to everyone.
Blue sky with light high cloud in East Sussex but decidedly cooler. All the GC had good days yesterday with three at drusilla's zoo and two at Pevensey castle and Herstmonceux science park. All back to me for food. I had FOUR different puddings on offer but of course one did not like any of them. Wanted ice cream instead. I said No!

Mornin' all. I went to a funeral yesterday of my next door neighbour.....funereal thoughts still hanging over me, but today should be better, as I am meeting a friend and going out!

Loverly morning in north essex bright sunny just a little on the chilly side

Good morning everyone. Sunny morning in Northumberland. Back last night from the Rosneath peninsular. Left me frazzled after helping the other grandma look after the four GC for the weekend while DD and SiL went to a wedding. Am going to relax as much as possible today!!

We're off to the Forest of Dean for two nights. Just Nana, Granddad and the 4-year GS and GD for a bit of fun together before they start school.
