Best wishes for your DH Gagagran, it sounds like a lovely day for him and your DGS.

Bright and sunny in Portugal, with a pleasant breeze at the moment. The forecast says it will get warmer later. Warmer? it got up to 34degrees yesterday. shock

Good morning Mick and everyone! It's more cloudy than we are used to of late but still warm and feeling summery. Love it! It's DH's birthday today and he is going on a long-ish bike ride with DGS aged just 9 so hope the " little-un" gets back OK. I'm on standby to drive to the rescue.

This evening we are off for a family curry at the local Indian Restaurant, where we always get a wonderful welcome and superb service and food. DD has got a bottle of champagne to take as they are not licensed.

Happy days all! sunshine

Good morning all from East Sussex. Lovely day and we are still awaiting rain here. Has very little rain in the last four weeks. The water butts are empty.

Good Morning all. Lovely day again. we're off to Stratford upon Avon today to see Two Gentlemen of Verona at the RSC - no we have not come into money. they do a few understudy matinees per season and the seats are inexpensive - £10 each - bargain we thought. I love Shakespeare and its wonderful living near enough to drive there, make use of the Park and Ride (DH also has free bus pass not me yet though) and an well priced lunch in Wetherspoons - simples! Have lovely day all smile

I am so used now to wall to wall sunshine, what am I going to do when "normal" weather returns? It is perfect in NW London.

Morning Mick. Morning All. A lovely morning here too - but it's all due to change around lunchtime - when the family arrive for a couple of days.
You are central Mick. When I was first married we had a flat in the centre of Norwich. Not that big a place, but I loved it.

Good Morning Everyone,
Yet another blue sky start here in Brackley , the town hall clock as just struck 7 shows how central I am.
