I hope I am never too old to dance. I love dancing. I went to a dance recently called 'Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet' which played 70s and 80s music and me, my sister and niece danced the night away. Lots of people dressed up in 70s and 80s fashion and the age range was 16 to 80. Best fun I have had in years and can't wait for the next one in September!!

Sounds like it was a lot of fun shabby - my mother goes to nightclubs and she's 79! grin

How wonderful. Thanks soooo much for that. What was lovely, was that nobody found it odd. Could you imagine some faces in this country if an 'old boy' got up to dance like that. And his rhythm was great.
I wish I had 'old' people near me like that.
I was talking to my new neighbour today. She's younger than me (67) she has never used an ATM machine!! Forget the internet! She wondered what you did with it.

Good for him - I'm not sure I could keep up with him, either. smile

I'm pleased you all liked that - it put such a smile on my face watching him I just had to share it grin

What a great little mover. I love dancing too - and the latest music. I'm always sad that older people on holiday are often to be found waltzing sedately round a dance floor rather than having a really energetic boogy. I wish night clubs weren't just for the young (unless you're very brave, which I'm not).

When my mum informed me that she goes to nightclubs sometimes to dance (she can do ballroom and Latin American also), I did show surprise and said (jokingly) that I bet the youngsters love that. She said 'actually they do and I get quite a lot of young men dancing with me' shock grin

From her account of it, she and her friend are not laughed out of the place but made to feel welcome; I think that's really nice.
